Unprecedented! Indiegogo Extends Campaign

It was yesterday morning - and it's late, now, and I haven't got time for details - but want you to know that yesterday morning I opened email to find that Indiegogo has stretched their own "Can't Change the Deadline" rule and THE CHRISTMAS DRAGON Album Fundraiser has been granted a new end date: December 27th!


This is such a gift. It's a step toward a real miracle, if everyone helps by opening the chain of contacts, by letting people know, by giving Perks as gifts to their friends who "have everything" or don't want more "things" in their already crowded apartments. It's a gift of the future - being on the ground floor of something with a future beyond ourselves - smiles and laughter for generations to come.


Gotta get some sleep. I'll be more coherent next time.

The extension is wonderful. Did you remind brother John about his HH connection? Seems like such a logical benefactor.
Sent video to my husband. He admired your stage presence and voice! Me too! Wish we could have seen you in a play. I didn't get enough of you in the "Light in the Forest" -- do you ever audition for roles on TV? I can think of a couple of parts for you. Yould do a great Jackie on the "Good Wife" for example, except I think I read that is shot in New York. Just thinking.

Congrats on the extension! I sent the link to everyone I know (and several people whom I don't) and hopefully that and the time etension will generate some big $$$.

@Wendy - Hold that thought! I've got an agent willing to send me out - just have to find time to deal with the online process of getting registered with Actor's Access, posting pictures & resume, then he also wants a "reel" - a video with 2 or 3 short scenes - because I've no recent film. That's not going to happen until after Thanksgiving, for sure. (To see David's real reel, go to the Links page on my directory, above, and then open "That Burroughs Guy," and click on his name - in yellow! - at the lower right.). As to benefactors, yep, thought of that & would be shocked, mainly because of the primary area of interest - but you never can tell who will respond; all that can be done is a direct mention. I'm finding out that direct, personal contact seems to have the best effect, so far - although the video has really helped. I just wish I new a few people with deep pockets who think it's a neat holiday gift! @Tracey - Amen! (x10) that!
